This SN was discovered by Puckett and Gagliano (CBET 147) 
on April 28, 2005, and absent on April 16, 2005, 
so discovered rather young.<br>

The host galaxy

is at z=0.024527 (NED).<br>

Spectrum reported by the nearby SN factory <a href="http://www.astronomerstelegram.org/?read=473">(ATEL 473)</a> shows this is a type II SN.
