Homework 1 assigned Friday April 7, due at the beginning of recitation (2pm) on Friday April 14. Solutions here.

Homework 2 assigned Saturday April 8, due at the beginning of recitation (2pm) on Friday April 21. Solutions here.

Homework 3 assigned Friday April 7, due at the beginning of recitation (2pm) on Friday April 28. Solutions here.

Homework 4 assigned Saturday April 29, due at the beginning of recitation (2pm) on Friday May 5. Solutions here.

Here is the midterm. The first page is a cover sheet with instructions. The deadline is 5pm on Tuesday May 9, to be turned in in-person to Anna (245 Cahill), Gita Patel (244 Cahill), Gregg (277 Cahill), or George (374 Cahill). You have three hours to complete the exam. The solution can be found here.

Homework 6 assigned Friday May 19, due at the beginning of recitation (2pm) on Friday May 26. Solutions here.

Homework 7 assigned Sunday May 28, due at the beginning of recitation (2pm) on Friday June 2. Solutions here.

Homework 8 (last one!) assigned Friday June 2, due to Anna Ho's mailbox by 2pm on Friday June 9.

Late homework penalty:

(up to one week late): 50% of that homework's score. No homework will be accepted beyond 1 week past the due date. Late homework penalties will be waived for documented medical reasons. Other valid excuses may be accepted at the instructor's discretion.

 

Collaboration policy:

You can discuss the homeworks with other students in broad terms, but everyone has to do their own solutions. No collaboration is allowed for the midterm or final exams.
