The Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics will be located on the south side of the Caltech campus, adjacent to the Keith Spalding building, on California Boulevard. When completed, the facility will pull together Caltech's many activities in astronomy and astrophysics.

Construction should begin in February 2007 and last approximately two years. The Astronomy Department has set up a webcam to allow the public to have a look at this new development on our campus.

More details and other information about this buiding project can be found on the official website (which is currently accessible only on the Caltech network) at: http://cahill.caltech.edu .
