Check guider camera (P-60 only)

After mounting the CCD on the 60-inch telescope, it is useful at this point to check the guider camera. In order to be able to focus the guider on the 60-inch telescope with the Fabry-Perot instrument installed, the guider camera must be pushed in as far as possible toward the optical axis of the telescope. To verify this, loosen the four screws which hold the guider in its mount, press the camera in as far as possible against the foam padding, and re-tighten the screws. The guider system on the 200-inch telescope does not need to be adjusted.
