Monitoring etalon parallelism

The parallelism of most etalons with the CS-100 controller is, in general, fairly stable. Nevertheless, it is a good idea to periodically measure the width of one of the rings in the calibration lamp frames, or one of the night sky rings in the data frames. Any substantial broadening of a specific ring should be carefully investigated. The ringcheck script is useful for measuring the width of rings.
