Software command reference

 This appendix enumerates a number of the most useful commands and scripts included in the CCD (OBSERVING) and Fabry-Perot control software, as well as useful FIGARO scripts and programs. It is not meant to be a complete listing; consult the VMS help command for a more extensive listing and complete command descriptions:

Many of the commands have additional options not described here; again, consult the on-line or paper documentation for more details. The user should also feel free to peruse the Fabry-Perot scripts and programs in the sys:[ccd.fp] directory. Recall that VMS scripts using the naming convention filename.com; they are invoked using the syntax @filename. Feel free to copy and modify the Fabry-Perot scripts, should you find it convenient.
