Verify CCD status

 Upon arrival, assuming the Palomar crew is not at lunch, you should also check that the desired CCD dewar is being pumped and cooled. Usually the crew will already have started this process, using the CCD/dewar that you requested on the Palomar green sheet (i.e., usually CCD #15 or #16). If, for some reason, you are bringing the dewar from Pasadena, arrive as early as possible, i.e., before lunch, as the cooling process takes a few hours.
