Palomar Observatory Visitor Center Exhibits

  

The Palomar Observatory's Visitor Center is contains numerous exhibits and displays on the telescopes and discoveries made with them.  

The Visitor Center is open to the public daily (except for December 24 & 25 when it is closed) from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

Several of the observatory's exhibits are on touch-screen computer kiosks. They include a tour of the telescopes of Palomar Observatory, a tour of the solar system and an exhibit on Supernovae / Gamma-Ray Bursts and a display of images from Palomar. More of these interactive displays are in development.
