Friends of Palomar Observatory 2008 Events

March

March 15, 2008 @ 7:00 p.m. - Last year the 200-inch Hale Telescope was used to take the highest-resolution visible-light images ever obtained from Earth or space. The camera behind these observations was recently named one of Time Magazine's Best Inventions of 2007. Caltech‰Ûªs Nicholas Law will explain how this exciting research was performed for the Friends of Palomar Observatory.

This was our first off-Palomar lecture and it was held at Oceanside Photo & Telescope located at 918 Mission Avenue in Oceanside.
