Palomar Observatory Public Outreach

The Palomar Observatory is perhaps the world's most famous astronomical observatory.  Since the 1930's it has been, and continues to be, a center of astronomical research.  

The Observatory is open to the public daily (except for December 24 & 25 when it is closed) from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. for self guided tours.
