|4 Jun 2004:||Jay's entry on to stage. He played a small part as child Krishna in the play "Krishna". Meg and Nicki were his "sawangadi". The play itself was interesting with 5 different Krishna's being depicted. Facts about him that are normally brushed under the carpet or highlighted in a different vain played the main part bringing out his human nature. Anu had her typical part in the Oasis program, Here she was among the gopis.||snaps|

|5 Jun 2004:||Jay had caught a biggish Opal eye which we took to Goutam's where it was cooked and consumed.
Spent the initial part of the day fishing for books at "acres of books" at 240 Long beach Bl, Long beach. They boast of a million books, mostly used. Found a couple of Martin Gardners.
Saw some of "What I have learnt of the US foreign policy". I did not learn anything new.
