25 Sep 2005: Attended the Penn State Indian student's annual program. They had invited Amman and Ayaan Ali Bangash for a Sarod performance. Sandeep Das was with the tabla. While I can not say how accurate or good they were with the Shree and Bageshree ragas, those were the best and occupied a rather small part of the concert. The rest of it was too loud and cheap tricks seem to abound. The tabalji while good in bursts has clearly learnt some show-biz stuff from Zakir Hussain.
