| 17 Sep 2005: | Need to get more seriously in Perl (started thinking so after seeing not too much use of it at the NVO SS 2005. |

| 23 Sep 2005: | C-jump is a board game thought up by Igor Kholodov to teach your children C/Java like syntax (if you want to teach them that). Its like a glorified snakes-and-ladder where not only where you reach but also what you rolled determines where you go while simultaneously making you act like an interpreter (rather than a compiler - interesting). How about a perl version? | C-jump |

| 25 Sep 2005: | Attended the Penn State Indian student's annual program. They had invited Amman and Ayaan Ali Bangash for a Sarod performance. Sandeep Das was with the tabla. While I can not say how accurate or good they were with the Shree and Bageshree ragas, those were the best and occupied a rather small part of the concert. The rest of it was too loud and cheap tricks seem to abound. The tabalji while good in bursts has clearly learnt some show-biz stuff from Zakir Hussain. |
