We provide here a tool that allows the user to use a few basic statistical routines on an astronomy dataset.
The philosophy here has been to use R routines through a form-based cgi program. Whether we finally use cgi or a model where the data is not moved or a combination of the two, this exercise highlights the possibilities with existing setups and is ideal in a situation where the dataset is not too big. VOTABLE as well as ASCII inputs are supported. Minimal error checking exists at this point and the output is in text format.
