Andy Boden's Professional Page
I am an astronomer and serve as the Deputy Director for
Caltech Optical Observatories (COO)
in Caltech Astronomy
at the California Institute of Technology
(Caltech).
COO works within Caltech Astronomy to administer
Palomar Observatory
(below) in California and (Caltech's share of) the
Keck Observatory
in Hawaii.
I also serve as an Adjunct
Professor of
Physics and Astronomy
at Georgia State University, affiliated
with the Center for High
Angular Resolution (CHARA)
and the CHARA Interferometric
Array.
Education:
Ancient History: I am also an "alumnus" of
IPAC (1999--2008),
JPL (1993--1999),
and (the now defunct) Hughes Aircraft (1987--1988) and Nichols Research Corporation (1983--1987).
