Dan Masters and I developed an interactive tool for viewing and analyzing spectra in the context of modern imaging surveys. In addition to displaying the 1D and 2D spectrum, SpecPro can simultaneously display available stamp images as well as the spectral energy distribution of a source. This extra information can help significantly in assessing a spectrum.

Spitzer Heritage Archive Enhanced Imaging Products
I oversee the development and excicution of the pipeline that is producing enhanced imaging products and a source list for the Spitzer Heratage Archvie (SHA) at IRSA. The products will include mosaic images which combine data from multiple programs that cover the same area of the sky, and a source list of photometry for compact sources. The primary requirement on the SL is very high reliability -- with areal coverage, completeness and limiting depth being secondary considerations. The enhanced imaging products will include data from the four channels of IRAC (3-8 microns) and the 24 micron channel of MIPS. The products will be generated for Spitzer observations of about 1500 square degrees and include around 30 million sources.

Improved Spectroscopic Pipeline for DEIMOS Spectroscopy

I have developed several tools to help design DEIMOS slit masks and make finders. I also develoved a modified pipeline for the DEIMOS instrument on Keck that allows for dithering. This significantly imroves the sky subtraction at red wavelengths.
A Parallel Processing Pipeline for Detector Mosaics
Using a range of unix tools including IMCAT, PERL, PVM, and SExtractor I have developed a fully parallel image reduction package for mosaic cameras. I have successfully used it to process data from Suprime-Cam, MOSAIC, Mega-Prime, CFHT-12k, ACS, WIRCAM, and WFCAM. I am currently providing these pipeline on request. This has been used by serveral groups to reduce their Suprime-Cam and CFHT data.
