About

I am a graduate student at Caltech working with Evan Kirby to investigate early star formation in galaxies by measuring the heavy isotope abundances of red giant stars in nearby dwarf spheroidal galaxies and globular clusters. Before this I studied tidal disruption events with Shri Kulkarni using the intermediate Palomar Transient Factory (iPTF). I am continuing to work closely with the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) engineering team, and have developed a test to measure the CCD height and tilt within one micron, which will be used during commissioning. My main interests are galactic chemical evolution, stellar evolution, and instrumentation.
