There is no specific textbook.  Links to useful resources will be posted
on the class website.

Grading:  40% homeworks, 25% term paper+presentation, 35% final; no midterm

Collaboration policy: for the homeworks, discuss all you want, but everyone has
to write their own solutions.  For the final, no collaboration is allowed.

Term papers subjects will be selected around the middle of the term, with
a rough draft due circa mid-November, and the final papers due in the late
November, specific dates TBD.
