About Me

I am a fifth-year PhD candidate and an NSF Graduate Research Fellow in observational astrophysics at Caltech. I am working with Prof. Mansi Kasliwal hunting for transients and exploring the dynamic infrared sky. For the last four years, I have helped lead the Spitzer InfraRed Intensive Transients Survey, or SPIRITS, a search for transients with Spitzer/IRAC in nearby galaxies within about 20 Mpc from Earth. My primary research interests are uncovering hidden, heavily obscured supernovae and other kinds of dusty eruptions and explosions of massive stars.
