I am an observational astronomer who primarily uses optical, ultraviolet, and infrared observations to study the physics of young and active stars. I recently defended my thesis on the optical variability of pre-main-sequence stars, and continue to focus my efforts on understanding the complex and diverse behavior they show. In addition to traditional and time-domain observations, I make use of astrostatistical and astrocomputational methods in my work. I also like to get involved in outreach events, particularly sidewalk astronomy.
