I am interested in the formation and subsequent evolution of planets, stars, and galaxies. I am also attracted to unexplored areas, such as the ultraviolet sky recently opened up by the GALEX satellite or the time domain regime being explored by the Palomar Transient Factory. I focus primarily on observational work.
