We rode horses down into the Canyon!  It was a little terrifying, since the horses liked to walk
on the outside of the trail and we thought we would go over the edge of the cliff!
Anyway, it ended up being lots of fun.  Sean's horse was fat and lazy, but mine was pretty--
apparently she is a Bay horse (according to the wranglers).  She must like pictures.


 

These are some pictures Sean took while on the horse.  It had rained that morning,
and we got to watch the sun break through the clouds into the canyon.


We walked on the Navajo Loop trail into the canyon, which was a lot longer than we thought
it would be. Luckily, we had brought water with us!  But anyway, here are some pictures from
inside the canyon.  You can tell how are elevation decreases, then increases again (because you
have to walk out of the canyon once you walk in!)  Some of the pictures are taken in "Wall Street", but
I don't remember which ones are which.
