The SEDM is a low-spectral resolution (lambda/delta lambda = 100) IFU spectrograph (30 arcsecond; FOV) with a built-in four-channel imager (dividing the image plane; 7 arcmin FOV). The SED Machine is geared up for rapid spectral classification of transients on 2-mm class telescopes.
