About me I am a postdoc in Astronomy at Caltech and UC Santa Barbara, working on the Palomar Transient Factory (PTF) project. I am interested in all kinds of variable stars and the clues they provide to stellar evolution. Recently I have been focused on variables in the Andromeda and Triangulum galaxies. I'm also working on optical search and identification of ablated companions of Fermi millisecond pulsars.
My thesis was on long-term and extreme variability of stars
