GALEX Resolution, Dispersion and Equivalent Areas

These plots and tables are derived from GALEX groundbased calibration tests conducted at JPL in the spring of 2001.

The average dispersion for NUV order 1 is 4.04 Angstoms per arcsecond (range 3.4 to 4.3).
The average dispersion for FUV order 2 is 1.64 Angstoms per arcsecond (range 1.0 to 2.0).
