About me

I'm a Postdoctoral Scholar in the ObsCos Group at Caltech since November 2011. My research interests focus on observational cosmology, in particular Cosmic Microwave Background, CMB polarization, submillimeter galaxies and high-z sources. I currently work on the SPIDER project, which is a balloon-borne experiment designed to search for the primordial gravity waves predicted by inflationary theories by means of measuring their imprint on the CMB as an extremely faint curl-mode of polarization.

During my PhD at Cardiff University, I've been developing an increasing interest towards observational galactic star formation, due to my involvement in the experiment BLASTPol, which is going to study magnetic fields in galactic molecular clouds through the polarized submillimeter emission from aligned dust.
