Friends of Palomar Observatory

[I copied this as it was (horrible) and then tried to fix it up a bit. We still need a better sales pitch here. I copied the 2013 events from the old events page so that it looks more exciting (should be cleaned up once a year, I suppose). Also, I'm missing a few of the newsletters, probably because those were written by Susan. Does anyone have them? And I'd love a better picture of a lecture event.]

The Friends of Palomar Observatory will take you on a journey across the Universe. As a Friend you will:

  • Be invited to special tours, star parties, and events at the Observatory and partner institutions, as well as special presentations given by Palomar astronomers;
  • Receive The Big Eye, an exclusive members newsletter about the current research, history, and educational outreach mission of Palomar Observatory;
  • Earn a 10% discount on purchases from the Palomar Observatory Gift Shop; and
  • Support the educational outreach mission of the Observatory, including new exhibits and displays for all of the Observatory's visitors.

To become a member, please complete, print, and mail the Friends of Palomar Observatory Application along with your payment to:

Palomar Observatory – Friends of Palomar Observatory
P.O. Box 200

[I redid the application form, please check it.]
